AI video editor

A footage-first AI video editor.

Raw event footage in. A colour-balanced highlight reel, cut to your song, on a real timeline. Not a clip generated from a prompt.

Editor, not a generator

Search uses “AI video editor” for two jobs. One starts with a sentence and invents picture. The other starts with cards you shot and has to become a film the client will watch. Vantacut is the second. If you need the first, you want a generator.

The shipping product is a desktop app for Windows and Linux. One song sets the cuts. A theme sets the brief — Cinematic Story, Documentary, Emotional, or Energetic. AI Cut lands ordinary clips on ordinary tracks. You trim, swap, add titles, or lift the whole attempt with one undo.

Who it is for, worldwide

Event filmmakers, in-house studio teams, photographers adding video. A gala in London, a launch in Singapore, a ceremony, a match — same editor. English interface. Priced in Indian rupees. Available worldwide. The app does not change language with your country, and it does not pretend to quote dollars or pounds.

It is the wrong tool for listing walkthroughs from stills, talking-head YouTube, avatars, or anything that begins as a prompt.

How a job runs

  1. Import the cards. Originals stay on the drive they already live on.
  2. Analyse once per shoot. Quoted on hours of footage, in 30-minute blocks.
  3. Shape the music bed. Its length is the reel’s length.
  4. Pick a theme, run AI Cut. Quoted on finished minutes.
  5. Finish on the timeline. Export on the same machine.

Verticals

The same editor. Different days. Corporate recaps and wedding films sit as equal doors, not as a wedding product with extras.

The four briefs

Compared with other tools

Worked example. 2 hours of footage to a 3-minute highlight is 120 credits (₹1,200) at the current rate card. Quoted in the app before you spend. Prices in Indian rupees.

Your footage stays on the machine

Editing, playback and export run on your computer. Analyse sends short, low-resolution previews of each clip, which carry the recorded sound, and the app asks you to agree first. Originals are not copied, moved or uploaded. The editor runs worldwide, in English; prices are in Indian rupees.

Questions

Is this a text-to-video generator?

No. You shoot the day. Vantacut cuts that footage to one song. If the camera missed it, it is not in the reel.

Who is it for?

People who shoot live days — galas, stages, ceremonies, matches — anywhere the English UI is usable. In-house studios, event filmmakers, photographers adding video.

Does it run in my country?

Yes. Windows and Linux, English, prices in Indian rupees. Editing and export work offline. macOS is not shipping yet.

What do I pay?

A one-year licence for the editor, then credits for Analyse and AI Cut, quoted in the app before you spend. 30 credits per hour of footage analysed; finished minutes follow the rate card on the pricing page.
