Vantacut is free with a Vantacut account. Create one when the app first opens; no payment details are needed to sign up.

• The full editor: the timeline, titles, effects, masks and keyframes.
• The colour page, with wheels, curves, LUTs and scopes.
• Export on your own computer, at full resolution, in MP4, MOV or WebM.
• Windows and Linux.

What costs credits

Only Auto-Edit, the feature that watches your footage, asks you what matters and cuts a highlight reel to your song. Importing, editing, grading and export never cost a credit.

How Auto-Edit is charged

Two charges, both by length, to the second, with no rounding up:

• New footage: 10 credits a minute, the first time Auto-Edit analyses it. Footage it has already analysed is not charged again, unless 30 days pass without a reel using it.
• The reel: 40 credits a minute of the film it makes, never more than your song’s length.

For example, a first 3-minute reel from 45 minutes of new footage is 450 + 120 = 570 credits. A 1-minute teaser from the same footage afterwards is 40 credits.

Each reel’s card in the app shows what it was charged.

If a reel fails

Each charge is made only once its work is done. A reel that fails before its footage is analysed costs nothing. If the analysis finishes and the reel then fails, or you cancel it, only the analysis is charged, and that footage is not charged again in your next reel.

Credits to start

Every new Vantacut account gets 750 credits, once.

Your balance

Your balance shows in the app. A reel can start as long as your balance, less the reel’s price, stays at or above −10 credits, so it can dip a little below zero. A pack you buy next covers the difference.
