Who we are
Vantacut is made by the people who answer support@vantacut.com. There is no parent company and no invented feature list. It is a native app for Windows and Linux; macOS is not shipping yet.
Why Vantacut exists
Event filmmakers do not lack footage. A wedding, a gala or a match leaves hours of it on the cards, and the client is waiting for a few minutes of film cut to a song. The slowest part of that job is the first cut: watching everything, choosing the moments and laying them to the music before the real editing can start. Vantacut Auto-Edit is built for that part. It watches the footage, asks you what matters, shows a plan and lays the reel on a timeline you can change. The rest of the app is a full editor, so the film can be finished where it was cut.
What ships today
Vantacut is a native desktop app for Windows 10 or later and for Linux (Ubuntu 24.04 or later, amd64). It has a timeline with titles, effects, masks and keyframes; a colour page with wheels, curves, LUTs and scopes, plus Auto Balance Colour; and export to MP4, MOV or WebM. Auto-Edit has four themes, Cinematic Story, Documentary, Emotional and Energetic, and hears speech in 22 Indian languages and English. See how the AI video editor works, or download it.
What we believe
- Your footage is yours. Your original footage and your songs never leave your computer. To find moments, Auto-Edit shares low-quality copies of your clips, still frames and the speech, and the app asks once before anything is sent.
- The AI makes the first cut. You make the film. The reel opens as a new timeline of ordinary clips on ordinary tracks, so your own edit is never touched, and the whole reel is one undo from gone.
- Never invent a feature. Everything on this site describes something the app does. The screenshots are real window grabs of the app, on a new, empty project.
- Free to edit, pay only for Auto-Edit. The editor is free with a Vantacut account. Auto-Edit runs on credits, charged by the minute at the rates on the pricing page. Prices are in Indian rupees; the editor works worldwide, in English.
How this site is written
Every product claim here matches what the app does on screen, including its limits. Every fact about another product on the comparison pages was checked on that product’s own site, and the date of the check is kept with it. Where something could not be sourced, the page says so rather than guess.
Where it runs
A native desktop app for Windows and Linux. Editing, playback and export run on your computer, and keep working offline once you have signed in. macOS is coming.
