What a theme changes
It tells Auto-Edit what to favour when two shots both fit the song: narrative shape, the order things happened, faces, or movement. It does not grade the picture or change the runtime. The song still decides how long the reel is, and the colour page still decides how it looks.
When two themes both fit
Start from where the reel will be watched. A film the couple will sit through from start to finish wants Cinematic Story, or Documentary if the order of the rituals is the point. A teaser people will share wants Energetic, or Emotional if it is quiet. Then let the song break the tie: a song with a still centre suits Emotional or Cinematic Story, and one with a steady drive suits Energetic.
Picking the wrong one is cheap to undo
If the pace is wrong, run Auto-Edit again with a different theme. The new reel opens as its own timeline, and each clip is only watched once, so the footage is not analysed or charged again: the new run pays for the reel only.
