Documentary: keep the day in the order it happened.

The brief for couples who will notice if the baraat follows the pheras. Same editor, same song, a different instruction to AI Cut.

Not for: Not a full-length wedding documentary and not a transcription of speeches.

The brief

Documentary favours chronology. It will still omit hours — a ten-minute film cannot hold an eight-hour day — but what remains should read in sequence.

Pacing

Steadier than Energetic, less shaped than Cinematic Story. Good when the ritual order is the point of the film.

When to pick it

Hindu wedding films, nikah-then-walima if they are one reel, any couple who said “just don’t mix it up.” Wrong for a thirty-second teaser of a dance floor.

After the cut

Walk the timeline against the day. If a later ritual landed early, move it. The product will not rename the rituals for you; you know the order, the timeline will take the change.

Worked example. 8 hours of footage to a 10-minute film is 390 credits (₹3,900) at the current rate card. Quoted in the app before you spend. Prices in Indian rupees.

Your footage stays on the machine

Editing, playback and export run on your computer. Analyse sends short, low-resolution previews of each clip, which carry the recorded sound, and the app asks you to agree first. Originals are not copied, moved or uploaded. The editor runs worldwide, in English; prices are in Indian rupees.

Questions

Will every ritual appear?

No. The bed’s length is the film’s length. Missing a billed beat is a swap you make after the cut.

How is this different from Cinematic Story?

Cinematic Story shapes acts. Documentary protects sequence. Same four themes live in the app under these names.

Does it need more credits because the film is longer?

Credits follow finished minutes and hours analysed, not the theme name. A longer bed costs more because it is longer.
