- Baraat and the door. Movement, crowd, the walk up. Energetic phrases in the bed belong here; do not spend them on the fire.
- Jaimala. A short, readable exchange. If both families’ cameras rolled, you will swap angles after the cut — the reel is ordinary clips.
- Pheras. Circuits around the fire are slow on purpose. Cinematic Story or Documentary keeps them in order; shuffling them into the sangeet is how the film falls apart.
- Vidaai. Faces leaving, not decoration. Emotional favours this beat. If the cut skipped it, put it back before you send the film.
- The night’s entries. Reception or the last party of the weekend. A second, shorter bed is a second reel, quoted on its own length — do not stretch one song across two days.
After AI Cut, walk these beats on the timeline. Missing ones are ordinary clips — swap them in.
How Vantacut cuts it
Treat the weekend as one shoot for Analyse if the cards live in one project, or Analyse the ceremony day on its own. Shape a bed that matches the film you sold — often five to ten minutes — then Cinematic Story or Documentary. Check pheras still follow the baraat on the timeline.
The music
Pick a bed that can hold both the fire and the door. If the couple asked for a separate sangeet reel, that is another song and another AI Cut, not a longer version of this one.
The light
Daylight baraat, a mixed mandap, then LED stage light at night. White balance will jump; Auto Balance Colour is for that. Stage magenta at a sangeet may still need a hand.
Theme
Start with Documentary. It is a brief for AI Cut, not a filter. You can cut again with another of the four if the first attempt is the wrong pace.

Only if you sold one film and one song. Separate reels need separate beds; each is quoted on its finished length.
Does Analyse understand Hindu rituals?
Analyse is footage analysis, not a ritual detector. You judge the cut on the timeline against the day you shot.
How long a bed for a full Hindu wedding film?
