Story beats for this day
- Getting ready. Details, the outfit, quiet faces in tungsten rooms. This is usually the first stretch of the song, not a random insert later.
- The walk in, or the first look. One approach, held long enough to feel like an entrance. If both were filmed, keep the one the song can carry; the other is an ordinary clip you can swap in.
- Vows and the kiss. Still enough that faces survive. Vantacut hears the vows, so keep a line of them in the reel and the song ducks under it. The cut should breathe here even if the rest of the reel moves.
- Portraits while the light holds. The walk, the steps, the last clean daylight. Mixed colour temperature is what Auto Balance Colour on the colour page is for: it evens white balance across the cut.
- First dance and a full floor. The last stretch of the song. If the floor is empty in the shots it chose, replace them; they are ordinary clips, not locked selects.

How Vantacut cuts it
Import the cards and turn on AI analysis. Choose the song, pick a theme, add a brief if you like, and press Create. Auto-Edit asks up to three questions only you can answer, such as who matters most, the tone and what to leave out, then shows the plan before it cuts. The reel opens as a new timeline of ordinary clips, so your own edit is never touched. Walk the five beats above, swap what the cut missed, and export from the same timeline.
The music
The song’s length is the reel’s length, and the cuts land on its beat. Trim it to the film you promised the couple and the reel follows. Use one song, or join songs with a cut, crossfade or gap.
The light
A wedding moves from getting-ready tungsten, to daylight or a mixed ceremony, to a dark reception. Auto Balance Colour evens white balance across that path. It is a pass, not a grade; the wheels, curves, LUTs and scopes are there for the look.

Wedding video mixing software, in the studio’s sense
In many Indian studios, “mixing” is the word for editing a wedding video: putting the day’s footage together to the songs. Vantacut is wedding video mixing software in that sense.
