Story beats for this day
- Getting ready. Details, the dress, quiet faces in tungsten rooms. This is usually the first act of the music, not a random insert later.
- The walk in, or the first look. One approach, held long enough to feel like an entrance. If both were filmed, pick the one the song can carry; the timeline will take the other as a swap.
- Vows and the kiss. Still enough that faces survive. This is a poor place for an energetic brief — the cut should breathe here even if the rest of the reel moves.
- Portraits while the light holds. The walk, the steps, the last clean daylight. Mixed colour temperature is why Auto Balance Colour exists; you can lift it after the cut.
- First dance and a live floor. The song’s last phrases. If the floor is empty in the selected shots, replace them — they are ordinary clips, not locked selects.
After AI Cut, walk these beats on the timeline. Missing ones are ordinary clips — swap them in.
How Vantacut cuts it
Import the cards, run Analyse once on the shoot, shape the bed, pick a theme, then AI Cut. The reel lands as ordinary clips on ordinary tracks. Check the five beats above; swap what the cut missed. Export from the same timeline.
The music
The bed’s length is the reel’s length. Trim it to the film you quoted the couple, and the shot count and the AI Cut quote drop with it. One song, not a playlist of stings.
The light
A typical wedding moves from getting-ready tungsten, to daylight or mixed ceremony, to a dark reception. Auto Balance Colour evens white balance across that path. It is a pass, not a grade; take it off if you already shot a look.

Start with Cinematic Story. It is a brief for AI Cut, not a filter. You can cut again with another of the four if the first attempt is the wrong pace.
Your footage stays on the machine
Editing, playback and export run on your computer. Analyse sends short, low-resolution previews of each clip, which carry the recorded sound, and the app asks you to agree first. Originals are not copied, moved or uploaded. The editor runs worldwide, in English; prices are in Indian rupees.
Questions
Will it find the vows by name?
No. A theme and a song set the brief. After the cut you are on a normal timeline: keep, trim or swap.
Can I make the social teaser and the film from one pass?
Trim the bed shorter for a teaser and run AI Cut again. Each reel is quoted on its finished length.
Does this work outside India?
Yes. English UI, priced in Indian rupees, Windows and Linux. Editing and export run offline.
