AI video editor for pre-wedding shoot films.

A planned day with the couple: two or three locations, a few outfits, the light you waited for. The footage is beautiful and repetitive. The job is to cut it to their song, on a timeline you can change.

Not for: Not the pre-wedding ceremonies, which have their own pages, and not a generator for a location you never went to. You plan the shoot; it cuts what you filmed.

Story beats for this day

  1. The place before the people. A wide of the first location, held long enough to say where we are. The couple chose it for a reason, and the film should show that reason before it shows their faces.
  2. One chapter per outfit. Each change of clothes is a change of scene. If the cut swaps between two outfits mid-chorus and you did not mean it to, reorder the section; the reel is ordinary clips.
  3. The walk and the look back. Staged moments come in several takes. The cut keeps one. If you prefer another take of the same walk, swap it in by hand; it is the same kind of clip.
  4. The laugh between takes. The best footage of a planned shoot is often what happened while you reset: a joke, a stumble, a real laugh. If you kept rolling, that is material, and it is often what the couple remember.
  5. Last light. The close of the day, when the sun is low. End the film on the two of them, not on the landscape.

After Vantacut Auto-Edit makes the cut, walk these beats on the timeline. A missing one is an ordinary clip; swap it in.

How Vantacut cuts it

Import each location’s cards into one project and turn on AI analysis. Choose the couple’s song, pick Cinematic Story, and if the film should tell a story, such as how they met, say so in the brief. Press Create. Auto-Edit asks up to three questions, such as the tone and what to leave out, then shows the plan. The reel opens as a new timeline of ordinary clips: check the five beats above, swap takes where you prefer another, and grade on the colour page.

The music

Usually the couple’s own song, and often the film plays on the screen at the sangeet or the reception, or goes out as part of the invitation. Decide where it plays first. The song’s length is the reel’s length, so trim it to that.

The light

Each location brings its own light: hard noon at a fort, shade in a garden, golden hour on a beach, tungsten in a café. Auto Balance Colour evens white balance across the cut so the places sit together. The look itself, warm or cool or filmic, is the colour page’s job: wheels, curves, LUTs and scopes.

Theme

Start with Cinematic Story. You pick it alongside the song and the brief, and if the pace is wrong you can run Auto-Edit again with another of the four.

Your footage stays on your computer

Editing, playback and export run on your computer, and your original footage and songs never leave it. To find moments, Auto-Edit shares low-quality copies of your clips, still frames and the speech, and the app asks once before anything is sent. The editor works worldwide, in English; credit packs are priced in Indian rupees.

Questions

Is this the pre-wedding ceremonies, like mehendi and haldi?

No. This page is the planned couple shoot before the wedding. The ceremonies have their own pages, under use cases.

What if the outfits come out of order?

Reorder them on the timeline. The reel is ordinary clips on ordinary tracks, so moving a section is an edit, not a new run.

How long should a pre-wedding film be?

As long as the song, so decide where it will play first. A film for the screen at the sangeet can carry a whole song; a short invitation wants a trimmed one.
