- The ask, if you filmed it. If the ask was secret and you only have the walk-up, that walk-up is the opening. Do not invent a kneel the camera missed.
- The ring in the light you had. One clean insert. Golden-hour backlight will fool Auto Balance Colour less than a restaurant’s mixed spots — check the faces either way.
- The two of them, then the room. A thirty-second bed has no time for a guest montage. Keep the couple; one reaction from a parent if it is actually on the cards.
- A walk, not twelve locations. Engagement shoots wander. The cut should not. Pick the stretch of path that matches one phrase of the song.
- The kiss you will send. End on a frame they can post. If the last selected shot is a wide of a street, swap it before export.
After AI Cut, walk these beats on the timeline. Missing ones are ordinary clips — swap them in.
How Vantacut cuts it
Import the small bin, Analyse once (it is cheap on an hour), trim the bed to the teaser you quoted, pick Emotional or Cinematic Story, AI Cut, then swap the last frame if it is a dud. Same editor as the wedding; shorter arithmetic.
The music
Trim the bed to thirty or forty seconds before you cut. The quote follows the bed. A three-minute song will make a three-minute engagement film you did not sell.
The light
Usually one hour of one kind of light — dusk, a park, a table. Colour is simpler than a wedding. Auto Balance Colour still helps if you moved inside for the ring.

Your footage stays on the machine
Editing, playback and export run on your computer. Analyse sends short, low-resolution previews of each clip, which carry the recorded sound, and the app asks you to agree first. Originals are not copied, moved or uploaded. The editor runs worldwide, in English; prices are in Indian rupees.
Questions
Is Analyse worth it on an hour of footage?
It is billed in 30-minute blocks. An hour is the smallest worked example on the rate card; the app quotes it before you run.
Can I cut a vertical teaser?
You finish on a real timeline. Reframe by hand if you need a vertical export; the product does not auto-build a vertical version.
Same licence as the wedding work?
Yes. One licence for the editor; credits for Analyse and AI Cut, quoted per job.
