Use case

AI video editor for Christian wedding films.

Processional, vows, recessional, then the noise of the reception. One song can hold the service; the party is often a second, shorter reel.

Not for: Not a church livestream tool, and not an editor that automatically switches cameras at the altar.

Story beats for this day

  1. Processional. The aisle is one moving shot in the music, not three cutaways of flowers. Hold the walk until the phrase ends.
  2. Readings, kept short. A full homily will eat the bed. Keep a face and a sentence, then leave. Documentary will try to keep order; you still trim.
  3. Vows, rings, the kiss. This is the still centre. Emotional favours it. If the cut chopped a vow in half, extend the clip — it is a normal trim.
  4. Recessional. Out the doors, into daylight. A hard cut from the kiss into this beat is fine; the product only punctuates act and scene changes.
  5. Steps and portraits. The only clean light of the afternoon, often. Put it before the reception floor so the film does not end in the dark twice.

After AI Cut, walk these beats on the timeline. Missing ones are ordinary clips — swap them in.

How Vantacut cuts it

Analyse the day’s cards once. If you sold a ceremony film and a reception teaser, that is two beds and two AI Cuts. Cinematic Story for a short film; Documentary if the couple asked to see the service in order.

The music

A hymn on the bed will fight the vows. Use a score that can sit under speech, then a brighter last third if this reel also includes the first dance.

The light

Churches mix window light with tungsten spots; the porch is daylight; the hall is often coloured LEDs. Auto Balance Colour is the first pass across that. Stained glass may still need a hand on the timeline.

Theme

Start with Cinematic Story. It is a brief for AI Cut, not a filter. You can cut again with another of the four if the first attempt is the wrong pace.

Worked example. 2 hours of footage to a 3-minute highlight is 120 credits (₹1,200) at the current rate card. Quoted in the app before you spend. Prices in Indian rupees.

Your footage stays on the machine

Editing, playback and export run on your computer. Analyse sends short, low-resolution previews of each clip, which carry the recorded sound, and the app asks you to agree first. Originals are not copied, moved or uploaded. The editor runs worldwide, in English; prices are in Indian rupees.

Questions

Will it keep the processional in one piece?

The theme sets a brief; you check the aisle on the timeline. A processional chopped mid-phrase is a trim, not a new job.

Church audio is a mess. Does AI Cut fix that?

No. It cuts picture to the music bed you give it. Clean the speeches in the timeline if you need them audible.

Can I finish titles in Vantacut?

Yes. The reel is ordinary clips. Add titles, or export and finish wherever you already work.
