AI video editor for wedding reception highlights.
Speeches, cake, first dance, a floor that finally fills. This is often the second reel of the job, with its own song.

Not for: Not a speeches-to-transcript editor, and not a tool that writes captions over the toast.
Story beats for this day
- Grand entrance. Names, lights, the walk to the floor. Give it the first phrase. If the DJ talked over it, you still have picture — the bed is your music, not theirs.
- Toasts, as faces. The whole roast will not fit a one-minute reel. Keep the speaker’s face and one reaction. Descript-style speech editing is a different product.
- Cake. A short, readable beat. It is décor unless you can see them. Swap in the two-shot if the cut chose a wide of a table.
- First dance. If this reel’s song is the first-dance track, let it run. If it is not, you are cutting picture to a different bed — tell the couple which they will hear.
- The floor when it is actually full. Empty floors are the usual miss. Replace those clips. Energetic is the brief for this reel; do not use it on the vows film.
After AI Cut, walk these beats on the timeline. Missing ones are ordinary clips — swap them in.
How Vantacut cuts it
If the reception cards were on the wedding project, Analyse has already seen them. New cards only: Analyse the additions. Pick Energetic, cut, then pull speech clips by hand if a toast has to be audible.
The music
A reception teaser wants a short, bright bed. Trim it before AI Cut so you are not quoted for a five-minute party film you meant to be a minute.
The light
Moving heads, uplights, a dark floor, onboard camera lights. Auto Balance Colour will try to even skins across that. It can go muddy — Remove Auto Balance if it does, the clips stay.
Theme
Start with Energetic. It is a brief for AI Cut, not a filter. You can cut again with another of the four if the first attempt is the wrong pace.
Your footage stays on the machine
Editing, playback and export run on your computer. Analyse sends short, low-resolution previews of each clip, which carry the recorded sound, and the app asks you to agree first. Originals are not copied, moved or uploaded. The editor runs worldwide, in English; prices are in Indian rupees.
Questions
Will the toasts be intelligible?
AI Cut follows the music bed, not the speech. If a toast must be heard, keep it on the timeline and mix it yourself.
Same Analyse as the ceremony?
Analyse runs once per shoot. Added cards are charged on their own. You do not pay for the ceremony hour again.
CapCut is faster for a vertical party clip.
For a phone teaser, perhaps. For the cards from a reception, this is the desktop editor that does not upload the originals.
