- Seating and the quiet room. Hands, documents, the people who have to be in the frame. Documentary keeps this before the party; do not let an energetic brief skip it.
- The nikah itself. Signatures, duas, a still room. Faces over décor. If you were asked not to film a moment, it will not appear — the cut can only use the bin.
- Rukhsati. Leaving is its own act. Give it a phrase in the bed so it is not a flash between two party shots.
- Walima entrance. A second gathering. If this is a second reel, it needs its own song. One bed stretched across both days will undersell both.
- The floor and the family portraits. Portraits in the gap before the floor fills. Mixed flash and stage light is expected; Auto Balance Colour is the first pass, not the last word.

How Vantacut cuts it
Analyse each day’s cards. Cut the nikah as its own film if that is what you sold; do not hide it inside a dance reel. Emotional or Documentary for the signing; Energetic only for a separate walima teaser.
The music
A bed with a still centre for the signing, and room at the end for the walima floor. If the family asked for nasheed-only, that is the bed — the cut follows whatever you load.
The light
Indoor nikah is often soft and mixed; walima stages run saturated LEDs. The jump between those two rooms is the usual colour complaint. Keep Auto Balance Colour on for the first cut, then lift it on the portraits if they go muddy.
