Concert highlight reel editor.

Doors, an opening number, the crowd, the encore. Footage from the night, one song, a recap. Not a wedding film.

Not for: Not a tool that syncs the front-of-house mix for you, and not a generator that invents a stage from a still.

Story beats for this day

  1. House lights and doors. The queue, the room filling, the first wide of the rig. Give it the intro. A logo sting here wastes the phrase.
  2. Opening number. Readable faces and hands. If the cut jumped to the merch stand, swap it back; tell Auto-Edit who is on stage when it asks who matters.
  3. The floor answering. Crowd, phones, the bounce. Energetic wants this. Empty aisles are the usual miss; replace them.
  4. Encore. The last billed number. Hold it long enough to feel like a close, not a flash between two wides.
  5. Out. Walk-off, house lights, the street. End on a frame they can post. A dead stage as the closer is a trim.

After Vantacut Auto-Edit makes the cut, walk these beats on the timeline. A missing one is an ordinary clip; swap it in.

How Vantacut cuts it

Import the night and turn on AI analysis. Choose the song, pick Energetic, and press Create; answer the questions about who matters and what to leave out. After the cut, restore any billed number that went missing, then export on the same machine.

The music

Load a score, or the live track. The cut follows the song you give it and lands on its beat. Trim to a one-minute teaser if that is what you sold.

The light

Spots, haze, phones in the crowd. Auto Balance Colour evens white balance, which can fight a stage look; if the night should stay coloured, grade it by hand on the colour page.

Theme

Start with Energetic. You pick it alongside the song and the brief, and if the pace is wrong you can run Auto-Edit again with another of the four.

Your footage stays on your computer

Editing, playback and export run on your computer, and your original footage and songs never leave it. To find moments, Auto-Edit shares low-quality copies of your clips, still frames and the speech, and the app asks once before anything is sent. The editor works worldwide, in English; credit packs are priced in Indian rupees.

Questions

Does it cut on the beat?

Yes. The song’s length sets the reel’s length, and the cuts land on its beat.

Can I use the live mix as the song?

Yes. Load that file. The reel will be as long as it is, so trim it first if you want a teaser.

Is this only for weddings?

No. The same editor and the same credits. A concert recap is one use of it.
